Exploration is essential to the long-term growth of our business. In the U.K., we apply technology to identify new resource opportunities while sustaining a competitive advantage worldwide.

Our exploration group is focused on identifying and maturing a portfolio of growth opportunities within the Atlantic Margin and North Sea regions of north west Europe. The U.K. team seeks to identify incremental resource that can be tied into the production life cycle of our core assets. Through participation in the annual Oil and Gas Authority (OGA) Licensing rounds, the exploration team pursues emerging exploration plays that have the potential to support new standalone infrastructure. This provides a wide-ranging portfolio designed to sustain U.K. production for years to come.
